Business Value Proposition

Adcco’s primary mission is to optimize our customer’s overall transportation and minimize freight costs without jeopardizing service levels by utilizing a continuous process of improvement. We identify opportunities for cost control through historical and predictive pattern analysis. We develop freight bill databases and reporting services which will greatly assist Traffic Department as well as Accounting Departments in their overall managerial tasks and freight accounting systems. Often as a result of our evaluations, transportation dollars saved and efficiencies gained internally greatly exceed the costs involved to perform the analysis.

Our goals as the carrier, Spinning Wheels Express, are to provide reliable and timely transportation services in clean, well maintained equipment with courteous and cooperative drivers and provide dispatching services if desired. Equipment utilized (trailer type for example) will be appropriate to the needs of the freight. In a dedicated fleet scenario, we work closely with you to discover and highlight cost saving opportunities and implement changes as necessary or desired so that your product moves as efficiently, seamlessly, and as cost effectively as possible.

Our brokerage division strives to provide cost effective and safe transportation services at a fair market price. We select only carriers with federally verifiable insurance and operating authorities ensuring their legality to operate. Several steps are taken to protect you, the customer, and your freight: Carrier background checks on safety ratings, vehicle and/or driver “out of service” percentages as a result of federal roadside inspections, and accidents reported to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) are all taken into consideration prior to tendering a load to a perspective carrier. Additionally a very detailed contract with clauses to protect the shipper and receiver must be executed by the carrier, and our own experiences with the carriers are taken into consideration. Finally, our brokerage division also carries continent cargo insurance further protecting you, our customer, from any losses due to carrier insurance exclusions or “gaps” in coverage.

FAQ

Q. How are we compensated?

A. There are a variety of methods of compensation, and they are mutually agreed upon prior to any activity taken place. The methods of compensation are designed to reflect the work being asked of us. Most popular among the Adcco Logistics and consulting division are invoicing a percentage of amounts saved, thereby compensating Adcco Incorporated from funds you would not otherwise have had. Also popular are flat rates for one time studies and rates per bill for freight bill auditing and payment functions. Rates for fleet and truckload services are also flexible. They can be based on miles traveled, flat rates per lane, or a combination of a flat rate per week plus a variable rate per mile. Brokerage services are typically a flat rate per lane or negotiated rates per mile to various destinations.
