Anthony D. Colacchio - Adcco Founder
Tony Colacchio founded Adcco Incorporated in 1978 following 10 years in the Transportation Industry. Three years as Traffic Manager with a greeting card manufacturer by the name Doehla Greeting Cards Inc. at that time located in Nashua, NH. Three and a half years with Marshalls Department Stores based in Woburn MA as Director of Transportation and another three plus years with The Limited Stores Inc. also as Director of Transportation, located in Columbus OH. With all three of these companies Tony had full operational and financial responsibility for their corporate transportation.
In 1978 Tony decided it was time to make use of what he had learnt in transportation and wanted to help others reduce their transportation costs and earn a living in doing so.
Adcco Incorporated first started as a pure consulting firm, negotiating better deals for its customers was the main focus. Freight bill auditing, carrier and fleet evaluations along with management reports were just a few of the benefits realized from the program.
In 1989, thanks to a study completed for Malden Mills, Adcco Incorporated expanded its services to include Dedicated Fleet Services, named Spinning Wheels Express. Another opportunity presented itself in 1995 and Adcco Incorporated unveiled its Spinning Wheels Express Brokerage Division.
Today, some twenty seven years later Tony’s goal remains the same. To reduce our customers transportation costs to its lowest level without jeopardizing service.

He has and continues to attend numerous seminars regarding transportation logistics and transportation law to remain current and knowledgeable on the issues and laws affecting the transportation industry.
In 1997, Jason was named Vice President of Adcco.
In 2000, Jason was promoted to President of the company, with Tony Colacchio being named Executive Vice President.
